Responsibilities

Inspect, test, troubleshoot, and repair fire alarm and security systems in accordance with NFPA, NICET, and local codes

Perform service calls and preventative maintenance on fire alarm, burglar alarm, access control, and CCTV systems

Diagnose system issues and implement effective repair solutions

Complete detailed service tickets and documentation for each job

Ensure systems are operating at peak performance and in compliance with safety standards

Provide technical support and professional communication with customers on-site

Collaborate with office staff and project managers to ensure timely completion of service work

Maintain company tools, equipment, and vehicle in good working condition

Required

2+ years of experience servicing fire alarm and/or security systems

Strong knowledge of major manufacturers such as Honeywell, Silent Knight, Notifier, Fire-Lite, Bosch, DSC, Elk, Hanwha, Hikvision, and Software House (or similar)

Familiarity with low-voltage wiring, programming, and system testing

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents

Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills

Valid driver's license and clean driving record
