Responsibilities

Process approved reimbursement requests by the firm’s personnel and company vendors

Code and enter invoices into accounting software

Create and distribute check runs to appropriate personnel across multiple offices and vendors

Reconcile and record credit card activity for multiple accounts

Monitor prepaid court filing account balances, enter monthly charges, and reconcile balances

Research and resolve accounts payable issues with vendors

Assist with petty cash requests

Periodically analyze general ledger accounts

Manage outgoing trust activity for the Tampa trust accounts in accordance with both Florida Bar and firm policy

Required

Minimum of an associate's degree or equivalent relevant work experience

At least 2 years of proven experience as an accounts payable clerk or similar role

Proficiency using accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite

Knowledge of accounting principles and practices

Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
