Payroll Human Resources Specialist

Responsibilities

Execute end-to-end biweekly payroll processing using ADP Workforce Now
Maintain accurate employee records, earnings, deductions, tax data, and timekeeping integration
Review payroll registers, audit variances, and resolve discrepancies before payroll submission
Ensure compliance with FLSA, federal regulations, and Georgia wage and hour laws
Manage payroll-related audits, reporting, and documentation
Coordinate payroll changes related to new hires, terminations, promotions, and pay adjustments
Serve as the primary point of contact for employee payroll inquiries and issue resolution
Support year-end processes, including W-2s, audits, and reconciliation
Maintain personnel files, payroll documentation, and HR records with strict confidentiality
Support benefits enrollment changes impacting payroll (medical, 401(k), deductions)
Assist with HR compliance, internal controls, and standardization initiatives
Prepare HR and payroll reports for management and the Korean HQ as needed
Support communication between U.S. operations and Korean headquarters in Korean and English
Process new hire entries in ADP, including job data, pay setup, and tax forms
Support I-9/E-Verify processing and personnel file setup
Coordinate payroll-related onboarding tasks and employee system access

Required

5–10 years of HR experience with significant payroll responsibility
Hands-on experience with ADP Workforce Now (required)
Strong understanding of U.S. payroll processes, wage and hour laws, and compliance
Fluent in Korean and English (written and verbal communication required)
High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and confidentiality
Strong organizational skills and ability to meet strict payroll deadlines
Legally authorized to work in the United States

Preferred

Experience supporting manufacturing or an hourly workforce preferred
Experience supporting U.S. subsidiaries of Korean companies
Familiarity with multi-shift manufacturing payroll environments
Experience coordinating payroll data with HQ or overseas stakeholders
