Account Director
Tombras is an independent national advertising agency seeking an Account Director. The role involves building client relationships, managing budgets, leading the account team, and developing business-building ideas while ensuring quality and adherence to agency procedures.

Responsibilities
Build rapport and credibility with clients to comfortably engage in frequent client contact and consultation
Field requests from clients to obtain and document requested modifications to work in progress
Remain actively involved in “day-to-day” client initiatives, including an understanding of business-building, strategy, media and creative projects
Prepare and produce special projects and items for client presentations
Review all materials before client presentations and final production
Manage client budgets, scope, and expectations regarding timing, schedules, and process
Gather initial project-timing feasibility evaluation (through PM)
Champion agency process to ensure quality of work
Become familiar with and adhere to agency financial and operating procedures and policy
Supervise Account team members, as the team grows
Inspire, motivate, train, and mentor the team as appropriate
Develop proactive business-building ideas for client and agency
Partner with internal teams, including Strategy, Creative, Analytics, Social Media, Development, Content & Video, Media and Project Management
Provide internal teams with timely and accurate market data, budget parameters, job specifications, and marketing updates
Maintain accurate records of client expenditures, time utilization, billing information, client contacts, conference reports, etc
Stay alert for opportunities to grow clients’ business and billings
Understand the basic client contract
Frequently communicate business updates to the client
Communicate schedules and obtain the required approvals from client, per project schedule
Obtain client approval of media plan and communicate media plan, including creative units, to Project Manager
Oversee client billing
Open and manage non-production estimates, as needed (e.g., fees, travel jobs, presentations, etc.)
Qualification
Required
7 (+) years of experience in Account Management, within a fully integrated advertising agency ideal
Experience working on social accounts is a strong plus
Strong understanding of the client's business and offerings
Highly organized, with a charismatic and varied communication style
Excellent presentation and communication skills are required; strong attention to detail
