Mid LevelJourney Health & Lifestyle is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Coordinator to lead their B2B Accounts Receivable operations, which is crucial for maintaining healthy cash flow and ensuring timely collections. The role involves partnering with Sales, Operations, and Finance to implement best practices that support growth in the health and wellness industry while maintaining strong client relationships.

Responsibilities
Own end-to-end collections strategy and execution, ensuring timely resolution of outstanding invoices and consistent cash collection
Proactively manage AR aging reports, prioritizing high-dollar and high-risk accounts to minimize exposure and reduce Days Sales Outstanding (DSO)
Maintain regular communication with clients via phone and email to secure payment commitments, resolve discrepancies, and strengthen relationships
Oversee the full AR cycle including invoicing accuracy, payment application, credit memos, dispute resolution, and account reconciliation
Escalate materially past-due accounts to senior leadership with clear recommendations including payment plans, work holds, or legal action
Coordinate with Legal team on collections matters, prepare documentation for outside counsel, and manage accounts through resolution or write-off
Identify root causes of payment delays and implement solutions to improve billing efficiency and collection effectiveness
Drive automation and technology initiatives to streamline AR processes, reduce manual work, and improve accuracy
Establish and enforce AR policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance and minimize risk
Serve as subject matter expert for AR-related systems and tools; lead system implementations, upgrades, and optimization efforts
Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) and training materials to ensure consistency and knowledge transfer
Qualification
Required
Experience in B2B Accounts Receivable operations
Hands-on collections experience
Ability to analyze data and identify trends
Self-driven with problem-solving skills
Ability to establish best practices and write SOPs
Strong understanding of ERP systems and AR management software
Proven track record of improving DSO and reducing aging balances
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong analytical skills with master proficiency in Excel
Ability to engage professionally with clients and internal stakeholders at all levels
Preferred
Experience with NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms
