Budget and Management Intern
The Ohio Office of Budget and Management (OBM) is the fiscal backbone of the State of Ohio enterprise, and they are seeking highly motivated graduate students to join their Budget team as Budget and Management Interns. This internship offers hands-on experience in state budgeting, economic and tax policy analysis, and public administration, where interns will work alongside budget analysts and contribute to projects that shape Ohio’s fiscal policy.

Responsibilities
Conducting economic and tax research to support decision-making
Assisting in the preparation of operating budget guidance for state agencies
Shadowing budget analysts and assisting with day-to-day tasks
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in a Master's program (or accepted to start in Fall 2026)
Strong writing and analytical skills
Proficiency in Excel for data analysis and reporting
Interest in government budgeting and policy
Preferred
Preferred fields of study: Public Administration, Economics, Public Policy, Political Science
