Responsibilities

Review shop drawings for both steel structures and piping assemblies for accuracy and constructability

Actively work with the fabrication shops to help design and implement more efficient tooling and safe construction methods

Support the fabrication shops by gathering information required to complete the project. This can include material tracking, dimensional issues, quality control, shipping and loading issues, and sourcing specialty tools/equipment

Provide support to the Supply Chain department (Shipping/ Logistics/Procurement)

Download Mill Test Reports (MTRs) and save them into a database

Accurately determine heat numbers and match them to coordinating MTRs

Work effectively in a professional environment

Maintain confidentiality while working efficiently, accurately and timely

Communicate and coordinate effectively with employees at all organizational levels

Required

B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or a related field

2+ years of experience in the Pipe/Valves/Fittings industry

Aptitude to quickly learn new computer software systems

Proficiency in MS Outlook, Excel and Word

Keen attention to detail, ability to prioritize tasks, and strong problem-solving skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
