Responsibilities

Inspect incoming raw materials, purchased components, and ASDI-fabricated parts

Conduct in-process inspections of sub-assemblies and finished products using established criteria

Perform visual inspections to verify material finishes, certifications, and other requirements

Use measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.) to confirm dimensions and tolerances

Manage and prioritize inspection workload based on need dates, aging material, and production schedules

Document inspection results accurately in QCBD, Proman, and other quality system portals

Maintain all inspection records, certifications, and traceability documentation

Clearly identify accepted, rejected, and quarantined materials

Enter and track nonconformance reports; collaborate with Buyers, Planners, and Engineering for resolution

Escalate recurring issues to the Supply Chain Manager and Engineering

Support root-cause investigations, audits, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives
