Sumitomo Electric Wiring Systems, Inc. is a leading supplier of electrical distribution systems and components. The Human Resources Assistant I will work closely with the HR Department and management teams to provide positive HR customer service and support various HR functions.

Responsibilities

Ensure timely and accurate preparation of new hire paperwork and personnel files, including processing all security badges

Supports new hire coordination including scheduling orientation & occasional facilitation

Responsible for maintaining accurate HR records including personnel, benefits files as well as training records

Support CIA programs and ensures data entries are processed in the system in a timely basis

Supports Wellness, Safety, and Social committees. Assists with planning and developing activities such as monthly engagement events, company picnic, holiday luncheon, wellness events, etc

Support on-site activities by scheduling meeting rooms, greeting visitors, ordering meals as necessary. Arranging for guest wi-fi access and security badges as necessary

Maintains and orders supplies for the department; to include service awards & bereavement sympathy gift

Other duties as assigned
