The VA Compliance Associate will support the VA State Approving Agencies' authorization processes and ensure compliance, assisting with program approval applications and maintaining student records in line with federal and state requirements.

Responsibilities

Assist with the completion and submission of VA program approval applications for all states in which we operate

Assist in preparing and submitting VA Compliance Survey, Risk-Based, and Targeted Risk-Based Survey packages to VA audit personnel

Responsible for data management and the maintenance of student records in compliance with Federal VA and State Approving Agency requirements

Work at the direction of the VA Compliance Manager, with limited direction from leadership

Work in close collaboration with other Worldwide departments to coordinate documentation for the VA education approval process

Provide accurate information for program and certificate approvals for each ERAU Worldwide campus location

Manage conflicting priorities and adhere to strict deadlines

Remain abreast of VA legislation, policies, projects, programs, and issues in support of Veterans Education Programs

Assist in policy and program planning, and interpret, monitor, and analyze information related to policies and procedures

Required

Bachelor's degree required

Excellent written and verbal skills

Must possess a high level of attention to detail

Above average organizational skills and ability to independently prioritize tasks

Analytical skills with an in-depth knowledge of information systems and technical expertise with Microsoft -Operating Systems, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook/email, and internet end-user applications

Preferred

Experience in evaluating transfer credit or academic advising is highly desirable

Military/dependent experience is highly desirable
