Responsibilities
Install, configure, and maintain SAP systems (S/4HANA, ECC, BW/4HANA, Solution Manager, PI/PO, etc.)
Manage client copies, system refreshes, transport management, performance tuning, and user administration
Monitor system health, logs, and jobs to ensure optimal performance
Support SAP systems hosted on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Understand concepts around VPCs, storage, backup, disaster recovery, and endpoint architecture for SAP workloads
Collaborate with cloud engineering teams to ensure secure connectivity between on-prem and cloud
Plan and execute system upgrades, enhancement packs, support packs, and kernel upgrades
Ensure minimal downtime through effective cutover planning and system copies
Conduct regression testing and validation post-upgrade
Support integration of BTP services with on-premise and cloud SAP systems
Ensure security, connectivity, and performance of BTP-based applications
Manage SAP authorizations, roles, and profiles
Ensure compliance with security standards (IAM, SSO, certificates, GDPR, SOX, etc.)
Conduct audits and vulnerability assessments
Manage system monitoring, backups, and disaster recovery procedures
Troubleshoot issues across SAP applications, DBs , and OS layers
Collaborate with functional/technical teams for smooth operations
Qualification
Required
10+ Years in SAP Basis
