Responsibilities

Co-develop engineering hardware in accordance with customer and internal requirements, as well as industry standards

Collaborate with multi-disciplined design teams across multiple projects to bring design concepts to fruition

Provide rapid engineering, fabrication, and prototyping solutions throughout the entire product lifecycle

Required

This position is for an intern who is enrolled in a Bachelor's (or higher) Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) degree program and will be at minimum, entering their Sophomore year by the start of Summer 2026

Academic or internship experience that includes hands-on testing of electronic and/or mechanical equipment

Experience with troubleshooting technical issues in an academic or internship setting, including the use of common commercial test equipment

Experience with CAD Software tools such as Mentor Graphics, Altium, CREO, SolidWorks, etc

Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date

U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

DoD Clearance: Secret

Preferred

Experience with or exposure to various military platforms for weapons conveyance, such as ships, ground combat systems, fixed and rotary wing aircraft

Experience with instrumentation and collection of large data sets, including the application of scripting or automation to data collection and analysis

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products

Experience in a direct customer facing role
