Senior Human Resources Generalist

Howmet Aerospace is a leading global provider of advanced engineered solutions for the aerospace and transportation industries. They are seeking a proactive and experienced HR Generalist to provide critical support to the HR team and drive the daily operations of the HR department.

Responsibilities

Partner with hiring managers to forecast staffing needs and develop targeted recruitment strategies
Post job openings, screen candidates, conduct interviews, and coordinate the full hiring process
Coordinate onboarding for new hires, ensuring a welcoming and compliant experience from offer to orientation
Administer relocation support for internal transfers and new hires
Assist with timekeeping and payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Coordinate with supervisors and employees to resolve timecard issues and ensure proper approvals
Support payroll reporting and reconciliation tasks as needed
Maintain accurate employee records and support HRIS data integrity
Assist with benefits administration, training coordination, and policy documentation
Support HR projects and initiatives with attention to detail and follow-through
Serve as a trusted point of contact for employee questions, concerns, and conflict resolution
Provide guidance on HR policies and procedures with professionalism and empathy
Organize employee appreciation events, celebrations, and morale-boosting activities
Support performance review cycles and development planning
Ensure adherence to employment laws, company policies, and ethical standards
Monitor and interpret regulatory changes, applying them appropriately across the organization

Required

Four-year degree in Human Resources or five years' experience in talent acquisition and human resources
Experience With Manufacturing, Engineering, And Skilled Labor Recruitment Required
Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office Suite
Experience with talent acquisition software
Ability to interact with a wide variety of stakeholders with integrity and confidentiality

Preferred

SHRM-CP or PHR a plus
