Responsibilities
Design and operate CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins) and create robust deployment workflows for both cloud and on‑prem environments
Develop automation in Python and Shell to eliminate manual toil and accelerate releases
Build and maintain services using AWS stack (EC2, S3, VPC, ELB/ALB, Auto Scaling, CloudWatch, IAM, SQS, Lambda) and manage on‑prem servers and data centers
Support migrations from on‑prem to AWS and ensure interoperability between environments
Optimize JVM and Linux system performance; tune online/batch applications using metrics‑driven approaches
Implement synthetic and real‑user monitoring; integrate AppDynamics and Dynatrace for Java and Linux systems across hybrid environments
Query and troubleshoot issues across PostgreSQL, MySQL
Qualification
Required
10+ years in the IT industry spanning SRE, production support, and release management
10+ years hands-on in production operations/SRE and release engineering
Strong experience managing hybrid environments (AWS + on-prem)
Proven expertise in CI/CD (Jenkins)
Proficiency in Python and Shell scripting; Linux administration and JVM tuning
Deep experience with observability (CloudWatch, AppDynamics, Dynatrace)
Solid database fundamentals and query troubleshooting across SQL/NoSQL
