Sales Development Representative (Inbound, Solar Solutions)
Penbrothers is a fast-growing HR and remote talent management partner in the Philippines, and they are seeking a Sales Development Representative for a Singapore-based solar energy company. The role involves owning the inbound sales cycle for homeowners interested in solar solutions, guiding them through the sales process, and exceeding key sales KPIs.

Responsibilities
Engage 100% inbound leads via our internal chat/voice system (WhatsApp-style interface), email, and calls
Quickly pick up leads from AI/chatbots and become the human face of the sales process
Run structured qualification and discovery to understand the homeowner’s needs, motivations, and constraints
Guide prospects from initial inquiry → qualification → design → scheduled call → online checkout/closing
Use our online platform to help homeowners choose the right solar 'package'
Proactively follow up and re-engage leads who ask to 'come back next week' or need more information
You will be measured on Time to response – how fast you pick up and respond to inbound queries
Pipeline movement – how many deals you move to the next stage weekly
Call conversion – how effectively you convert chats into booked and completed calls
Closed deals & revenue – number of deals closed and commission earned
Run video or voice calls with prospects; all calls are recorded and scored by internal AI coaching tools to help you improve messaging, objection handling, and structure
Log all activities, notes, and follow-ups in the company’s systems (CRM + internal apps)
Capture common questions and objections so the team can improve scripts, FAQs, and playbooks over time
Work closely with the Sales Manager in Singapore and cross-functional teams (Design, CX, Operations)
Help refine processes, scripts, and playbooks so that future hires can ramp faster — you’ll be part of building a sales engine that can grow from a few reps to 10+ over time
Qualification
Required
2–3+ years of proven sales experience (SDR, BDR, Inside Sales, or high-velocity B2C sales)
Excellent English communication skills, both spoken and written, with a clear, confident, and engaging phone/video presence
Strong salesmanship and competitiveness
High EQ and social skills – able to build rapport quickly, ask smart questions, and understand family/home dynamics and motivations
Process- and metrics-oriented – you respect playbooks, SLAs, and stages; you don't “wing it” or skip steps
Comfortable working with CRMs, chat tools, online checkout systems, and other web-based tools (specific systems can be taught)
Self-motivated and disciplined – you show up prepared every day, follow through on follow-ups, and don't let laziness creep into your pipeline
You're coachable and open to feedback (including AI-based call reviews)
You care about helping people make better energy decisions and doing what's right for both the customer and the company
You're excited by building something — being one of the early hires in a team that will later scale to many more sales reps
Preferred
Outbound or mixed inbound/outbound experience is a strong plus — we want people who are not afraid of rejection and are hungry to win
Experience selling to homeowners or high-value B2C customers (e.g., financial products, home improvement, telecom, insurance, or other high-ticket items)
Background in solar, renewable energy, home energy, or home technology
Prior experience selling to or supporting customers in Singapore or APAC markets
