Responsibilities

You will lead the development of a system test strategy and manage certification activities, ensuring our technologies meet the highest standards of safety and effectiveness
You will plan and oversee system certification events, from initial design reviews to final compliance checks
You will drive the product architecture discussions, focusing on designing systems that are not just effective but also certifiable
You will maintain oversight into testing equipment and resources, ensuring everything is in place for successful project execution
You will be the go-to person for all certification-related queries, providing expert guidance and support to your team and stakeholders
Develop requirements for a highly integrated DAL A computing system in accordance with industry guidance (ARP4754B) and program plans
Drive the product architecture discussions, focusing on designing systems that are not just effective but also certifiable. This requires close collaboration with Hardware, Software, Safety, and Security teams
10% travel as needed

Required

Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience
Experience with safety critical system, hardware, or software development (e.g. DO-178C, DO-254, or ARP4754A/B)
Experience authoring and validating requirements

Preferred

Experience with the avionics equipment certification process
Experience working with stakeholders to generate concepts of operations and use cases
Experience authoring in-depth technical documents
Experience working with and testing embedded hardware and software
Experience developing automated tests utilizing scripting
Excellent communication skills for both internal and external customers
Adaptable to change, determined to accomplish tasks based on program schedule, collaborating with teammates to make the best decisions, enjoy learning new technologies, be self-motivated and contribute to a positive work environment
