Responsibilities
Support CCA development for electronics used in high reliability undersea communication systems
Experience with Altium Designer 27 or Altium IPC footprint and schematic generators
Experience with library management practices in Altium or Xpedition
Knowledge of PCB layout tools from the Mentor Graphics suite (xDM, Xpedition. DXdatabook, BoardStation, Hyperlynx)
Experience with schematic capture in Xpedition and Altium is valuable
3D modeling in Solidworks, NX, or CREO
Experience with Footprint Expert
Circuit design and hands on prototyping experience
Basic knowledge of IPC and manufacturing standards
In depth knowledge of CCA fabrication techniques
Ability to communicate with suppliers when asked to provide clarification on design documentation packages
Documentation capture including (bill of material parts lists, ODB++ digital fabrication packages, 3D model generation)
Qualification
Required
Associate's degree or equivalent is required plus a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience
U.S. citizenship is required
Preferred
A minimum of four years' experience using Altium for PCB design
Preferred candidates can work onsite in McLeansville North Carolina 3 or more days per week
Department of Defense Secret security clearance is preferred or obtainable within a reasonable amount of time after hire
Experience with Altium Designer 27 or Altium IPC footprint and schematic generators
