S&T Bank is offering a Summer Internship Program that provides meaningful, practical experience in the Banking industry. Interns will assist with developing and analyzing reports, support departmental processes, and engage in team-building activities while gaining insights from bank leaders.

Responsibilities

Assist with developing and analyzing reports that support the lines of business

Assist with processes that support the householding of customers

Possess a proficient knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Operates PC equipment as needed to process information, prepare reports and perform research

Proficient in working with databases and data visualization tools, including Tableau, to analyze and present insights effectively

Enter data into spreadsheets and databases to process and prepare reports

Occasionally travels to various locations; valid driver’s license required

Performs research and/or analysis on special projects, as assigned

Maintains a good working relationship with bank employees

Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently, as well as motivated to work as a team player to contribute to the success of the department and in turn, the organization

Performs additional duties as required

Required

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent education

In pursuit of a four-year degree in data science, computer science, applied mathematics, statistics, finance, accounting, economics, business, or related

Possess a proficient knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Proficient in working with databases and data visualization tools, including Tableau, to analyze and present insights effectively

Enter data into spreadsheets and databases to process and prepare reports

Occasionally travels to various locations; valid driver's license required

Use of manual dexterity skills for typing and data entry up to 60% of the business day

Specific vision requirements include close vision of 18”-20” for computer work

Must be able to lift and/or move up to 40 lbs
