Ohm is the bridge between artificial intelligence and engineering test labs, seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to solve complex technical challenges while shaping the product roadmap. The role involves owning the integration strategy for enterprise customers, driving business impact, building technical relationships, and ensuring product quality.

Responsibilities

Own the end-to-end integration and implementation strategy for our enterprise customers: develop models, coordinate stakeholders, deliver training and technical support, and serve as customers' trusted technical advisor
Drive business impact: Ensure customers achieve measurable value (faster product launches, improved workflows) that leads to platform expansion and renewals
Build strong technical relationships: Partner with customers through regular calls and on-site visits to optimize platform adoption, while translating their needs into engineering priorities
Test the product relentlessly to identify bugs, optimize workflows and ensure Ohm consistently delivers the expected customer experience

Qualification

Ph.D. in STEMPythonML modelsGenerative AI toolsTime-series data analysisAlgorithm developmentTroubleshootingCustomer value focusAI-first workflowsOrganizational skills

Required

Ph.D. in STEM OR B.S./M.S. in STEM with 2+ years working with industrial
Strong Python skills and experience building ML models
Experience with generative AI tools (Claude Code, Cursor, etc.)
Confidence analyzing and interpreting time-series data, developing algorithms (anomaly detection, forecasting) and communicating insights

Preferred

Excel at troubleshooting with exceptional attention to detail
Have strong organizational skills to manage multiple requests and drive initiatives to completion
Are relentless about understanding and delivering what creates customer value
Push for excellence and move fast with AI-first workflows
Are not above getting into the weeds of a problem to help customers get more value from Ohm
