Responsibilities
Providing leadership and management in the delivery of the house's RHCF compliant services
Providing regular, consistent supervision to all residents to assure safety and well-being
Monitors and observes resident medication intake
Liaisons with outpatient wrap around support services
Ensures regular and consistent completion of all required written documentation, including services, administration, and staffing
Plans, directs, monitors, and evaluates the facility's activities
Ensures service coordination and strong communication and collaboration with outpatient agencies, doctors, pharmacies, and state representatives as needed relative to service delivery
Completes and forwards Incident Reports and any other safety/risk issues to supervisor
Ensures adherence to all RHCF policies and procedures
Understands policies and procedures regarding residents' rights, HIPAA, access to information, privacy, safety, and health
Recognizes, responds to and assists in crisis situations and provide the intervention necessary
Responds and assists in medical emergency situations as directed and needed
Communicates effectively with residents and interdisciplinary team regarding residents' needs
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED required
Five years of working with individuals with mental health challenges or behavioral health direct care experience
Knowledge of DCA regulations
Ability to collaborate and liaise effectively with outpatient support services
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Knowledge of human behavior and skills in risk assessment and referral for care
