Summer 2026 Intern - Desktop Support (Onsite)
RTX Corporation is an Aerospace and Defense company that provides advanced systems and services for commercial, military and government customers worldwide. The Business Infrastructure Organization is seeking a full-time summer co-op to focus on end user support for functional and engineering staff, performing installations, repairs, and troubleshooting of hardware and software issues.

Responsibilities
Perform installations, repairs, upgrades, backups, and other computer maintenance tasks
Perform telephone installations and removals
Setup audio / visual equipment for conference rooms
Troubleshoot hardware and software problems
Solve moderately complex problems
Regularly maintain hardware and software asset inventory database
Qualification
Required
Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a bachelor's or advanced degree in an applicable discipline (i.e. Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, or related)
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
Experience with Mac and PC hardware: laptops, and desktops
Knowledge of Windows 10 administration, Windows Server, Active Directory, MacOS, and Linux
Basic understanding of networking principles (TCP/IP) and LAN/WAN
Preferred
Knowledge of networking essentials including common ports & protocols, DHCP, DNS, switching/routing, firewalls, etc
Familiarity with using Atlassian software products (e.g. Jira, Confluence, Bit, Bucket)
