Responsibilities

Develop, draft, and administer contracts, ensuring alignment with company policies and requirements
Conduct contract negotiations with vendors, focusing on pricing, delivery terms, warranties, service levels, and risk mitigation with the support of the Supply Chain leadership
Prepare and issue Requests for Quotation (RFQ), Requests for Proposal (RFP), and bid packages; evaluate vendor responses and make recommendations for award
Collaborate with legal, operations, and project teams to ensure contracts are clear, enforceable, and structured for long-term value
Monitor vendor compliance with contractual terms and resolve performance issues or disputes
Maintain accurate procurement and contract records to support audits and compliance requirements
Build and maintain relationships with suppliers to foster reliable partnerships while ensuring competitive pricing and value
Support the procurement team in identifying cost-saving opportunities and supply chain risk mitigation strategies
Track market trends and supplier performance to provide insight into sourcing decisions
Perform other duties as assigned

Required

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered
5-8 years of procurement experience, with significant focus on contract development and negotiations
Strong working knowledge of procurement processes, contract law principles, and supplier performance management
Demonstrated ability to draft and negotiate commercial contracts
Proficiency with ERP systems and procurement software
Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and analytical skills
Valid drivers license

Preferred

Experience in mining, heavy industry, oil & gas, or other industrial sectors preferred
