Responsibilities
Assist with accounts payable processing and general ledger account reconciliations while gaining hands-on exposure to the Bank’s financial operations
Support month-end close and internal controls, assist with ad-hoc projects and special assignments that provide broader exposure to accounting processes and reporting
Partner with internal Bank teams to deliver data-driven insights through business reporting and analytics using the Power BI platform
Contribute to AI use case development and deployment leveraging technologies such as OpenAI, AWS and other cloud-based tools
Gain exposure to commercial loan underwriting, portfolio management and credit analysis
Assist with annual reviews, support underwriting activities and conduct data integrity reviews to ensure accuracy and consistency across credit files
Support the documentation lifecycle of commercial loans while assisting with documentation management and data integrity reviews
Complete a debit card dollar limit and transaction limit review project
Analyze customer usage, evaluate risk management considerations, develop recommendations and implement approved limit adjustments
Assist with daily operational tasks during the summer vacation months
Review and update the Bank’s Knowledge Base articles to ensure accuracy, relevance and usability
Research needed updates, revise existing KBs and develop new documentation to support technology operations
Help deliver and analyze digital marketing campaigns focused on family banking, collegiate banking and digital banking adoption
Gain hands-on experience with campaign execution, performance analysis and digital engagement strategies
Gain hands-on experience using a leading financial crime monitoring platform to support fraud prevention and regulatory compliance efforts
Learn how the Bank uses the system in day-to-day operations while helping to improve reporting dashboards and management reports
Qualification
Required
Be enrolled in an accredited college/university and actively pursuing a four-year undergraduate degree in a related field
Be a rising junior or senior with a minimum GPA of 3.0
Possess strong communication skills (both written and verbal) and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team
Be proficient in Microsoft applications, including Excel and PowerPoint
Have reliable transportation to our Main Office at 20 Eastman St., South Easton, MA
Be able to operate basic office equipment and perform physical tasks such as typing, writing and lifting up to 20 pounds when necessary
Be able to work in a professional office environment and maintain focus in a fast-paced setting
