New Grad, Entry LevelLumen Solutions Group Inc. is seeking a Quality Assurance Tester to support software coding changes to Medicaid systems. The role involves designing, executing, and validating test cases while ensuring compliance with federally mandated changes for South Carolina’s Medicaid System.

Responsibilities
Design and execute detailed test scenarios for mainframe and distributed systems
Perform functional, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT) for Medicaid system changes
Analyze test results, document variances, and coordinate resolution of defects
Collaborate closely with SCDHHS, Clemson staff, and contracted teams to support QA and UAT efforts
Ensure compliance with federal and state Medicaid requirements
Communicate clearly and effectively in both written and verbal formats to stakeholders and project teams
Qualification
Required
Strong background in Mainframe, MVS COBOL, JCL
Proven software testing experience, including creation of test scenarios and execution
Ability to analyze results and resolve discrepancies between expected and actual outcomes
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, adaptability, and time management
Bachelor's degree required
Hands-on experience in Quality Assurance testing within mainframe environments
Preferred
CA-ADS and SQL
Serena Changeman or similar change control tools
Familiarity with Medicaid Management Information Systems (MMIS), Medicaid eligibility, or claims processing
Experience with testing tools and healthcare IT systems
