New Grad, Entry LevelKimley-Horn is looking for Electrical Engineering graduates to join their Orlando, Florida office's Power Delivery Team. The role involves pre-design and design engineering responsibilities, including the development of reports, design documents, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Civil Engineering
Responsibilities
Coordination and verification of as-built drawings
Perform field investigations
Set up drawings and models for multiple disciplines
Collaborate with team members regarding design coordination, schedules, and deliverables
Perform feasibility studies
Prepare schematic designs
Responsible for the development of reports and design documents, including electrical design plans, equipment selection, solar system sizing, and power analyses
Participate on project teams in an active production role
Daily interaction and collaboration on cross-functional teams across multiple disciplines
Perform energy calculations using EnergyPro or IES VE
Develop single-line diagrams and load schedules
Design lighting selection and controls
Design normal, emergency, and renewable power systems
Perform Arc Flash, Short Circuit, and Coordination Power System Studies using ETAP and/or SKM
Qualification
Required
An ABET accredited Electrical Engineering degree (Bachelors or Masters) by Summer 2026
