Responsibilities
Perform routine and less complex installations, modifications, and repairs to telecommunication equipment, including PBX and voice mail systems
Perform data backups on all telecommunication equipment
Work with voice and data vendors to repair problems with Telco services
Maintain a list of vendor contacts to ensure immediate response to any problem with voice or data facilities
Maintain a customer service attitude
Respond to directives and special work assignments as given by supervisor
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
A combination of education and directly related experience equal to two (2) years; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements
Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors
Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner
Preferred
High School Diploma or equivalent appropriate General Certificates of Secondary Education or global equivalent preferred
One (1) year experience in the telecommunication industry maintaining the telephone systems and telephone cabling
Basic computer skills
Able to multi-task
