Principal Microsoft Security Architect (Remote)

Responsibilities
Set the strategic vision for cybersecurity of our Microsoft implementations, ensuring alignment with our internal customers, partners, stakeholders, and the organization's evolving goals and structure
Develop and implement robust cybersecurity reference architectures for client, collaboration, cloud, and AI systems to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
Play an integral role in defining RTX’s Zero Trust strategy, partnering with our other Enterprise Architects in defining how the Microsoft portfolio contributes to this strategy
Specify security controls for data using the Microsoft product portfolio to protect sensitive data and intellectual property
Identify and drive remediation of vulnerabilities in Microsoft systems, platforms and AI models, including adversarial attacks, data poisoning, and model abuse threats
Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to integrate advanced threat detection and mitigation techniques into Microsoft systems and platforms, and develop strategies to enhance the resilience of AI systems against cyber threats
Partner with ES Infrastructure on implementation of cybersecurity controls for Microsoft platforms and products, integrating in our Cyber Defense ecosystem
Partner with data scientists, engineers, and Digital Technology teams to integrate cybersecurity best practices into AI development and deployment workflows
Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies across the Microsoft portfolio and cybersecurity in general to proactively address future challenges
Develop and implement innovative security strategies for cutting-edge AI and data solutions
Qualification
Required
Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum 12 years of experience, or an Advanced Degree and a minimum 10 years experience
8+ years of experience with the Microsoft security portfolio, security and/or data analysis tools, including architecture and design
Experience in security and/or data architecture at enterprise scale, preferably in global or regulated industries
Experience with enterprise AI system architecture and/or cybersecurity
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position
Preferred
Demonstrated communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence senior executives and guide large-scale change
Industry certifications such as Microsoft Certified Cybersecurity Architect Expert, other Microsoft Certified Expert-level certifications, and other cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP
Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF, SABSA, DoDAF) and cybersecurity standards (NIST CSF and 800 series, MITRE ATT&CK)
Established track record of continuous learning and improvement, particularly with emerging technologies and security subject matters
Experience working under product operating models, Scrum, or other agile adjacent frameworks
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance
