Responsibilities

Develop a comprehensive analytics strategy aligned with clinical and business goals, ensuring insights drive key decisions in operations, patient care, and business development

Serve as the primary point of contact for all analytics and data-related initiatives within the organization

Collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to define and measure KPIs across business units

Analyze large datasets (clinical, operational, financial) to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights that drive improvements in health outcomes for patients

Deliver data-driven recommendations to optimize patient care, operational efficiency, and cost management

Design and execute advanced analytics models and algorithms to support clinical decision-making, predictive modeling, and population health management

Work closely with clinical, business development, operations, and finance leadership to drive data-driven solutions and ensure analytics are fully integrated into day-to-day operations

Provide executive-level reporting and storytelling, translating complex data into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders

Advise leadership on trends and emerging technologies in healthcare analytics

Ensure that analytics practices are aligned with healthcare regulations and data privacy standards (e.g., HIPAA)

Develop and enforce best practices for data governance, quality, and security within the organization

Lead efforts to build data infrastructure that supports scalability, security, and regulatory compliance

Partner with Strategy, Technology, and other departments to identify and integrate solutions to power efficient analytics

Evaluate emerging tools and technologies to enhance Telos’ competitive advantage and operational efficiency

Required

5+ years of experience in analytics, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role

Proven experience in the healthcare industry, preferably in a provider or payor environment, with a strong understanding of clinical data, operations, and healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA, HITECH)

Ability to define, implement, and track key metrics in sales, clinical, and operational analytics

Strong background in scaling data analytics within a fast-growing startup or provider organization

Expertise in using advanced analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R, Tableau, Power BI, etc.)

Bachelor's or advanced degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, Healthcare Analytics) or equivalent experience is a plus
