Senior Industrial Manufacturing Engineer (Onsite)

Responsibilities

Drive manufacturing process improvements across multiple assembly process steps
Perform time studies to maintain standard timings used for operator productivity calculations, and to aid with staffing analyses
Identify opportunities to remove waste from processes and reduce standard times
Support Production Build Operators with immediate needs on Tooling and Processes to meet production schedule
Utilize drafting/modeling SW to design and implement new fixtures for process improvement
Develop and maintain Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEAs)
Analyze and understand factory needs and requirements
Conduct Process Flow and line balancing analysis and drive improvements
Develop tools that enable manufacturing or increase production rates
Implement Procedure and process improvements based on safety, quality, and productivity
Identify and address safety concerns
Improving production facilities and equipment layouts
Provide information to management as the status of equipment, manpower, space and other elements affecting manufacturing
Identify needs for capital expenses and provide cost/benefit analysis and business need

Required

Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience

Preferred

Lean manufacturing experience
Experience with equipment and factory layouts
Problem-solving skills with ability to proactively identify alternate solutions to overcome difficult technical challenges
Ability to organize and prioritize while adapting to changing priorities
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve operational goals
