LEO A DALY, a collaborative design practice, is seeking an experienced Technical Designer II Architecture to assist in developing design solutions and preparing construction documents. The successful candidate will work under the direction of project managers and architects, ensuring design quality from inception through construction while maintaining client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Assist in designing, documenting, and coordinating projects, from conceptualization through development and execution in the field

Follow projects from inception through construction to maintain design quality and intent

Participate in design presentations. Tasks may include 3D modeling, Revit drawings, etc

Support and assist other architectural technical staff

Supports the Construction Administration phase assisting the Project manager by responding to RFI’s, reviewing submittals, etc

Required

University Degree - Bachelor/Masters of Architecture, and with 3 to 5 years experience post-education in an architectural design firm, or equivalent

Proficiency in the technical skills of architectural design including the following computer skills: MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook

Adobe Suite, Bluebeam, SketchUp, Rhino, Enscape, or similar 3-D graphic software

Strong technical competency in Revit

Demonstrated knowledge of the architectural planning and design process, construction documentation, construction administration and code requirements

Excellent written, verbal and graphic communication, organizational and collaborative skills

Willingness to work within a team

Strong problem solving and analytical skills

Demonstrated leadership skills

Self-motivated and eager learner, aptitude to grow and develop within the field

Ability to support multiple projects

Preferred
