They are seeking an Environmental Health & Safety Intern for the summer of 2026, who will assist with compliance and implementation of safety regulations while gaining practical experience in the field.

Responsibilities

Ensure compliance with all environmental, health and safety regulations

Create, maintain, and update safety and environmental procedures

Prepare, maintain and update environmental and safety regulations

Conduct safety audits, safety committee meetings, accident investigations, job safety analyses, ergonomic evaluations

Maintain the site Safety Data Sheet database

Advise management on accident-prevention and safety enhancements

Coordinate and assist in developing and revising safety training programs

Support the site emergency response team as needed

Keep current with changes to laws and regulations that impact the organization

Participate in EHS inspections, propose corrective actions, and track items to closure

Assist with EHS monthly regulatory reports

Any other tasks assigned by supervisor or management
