This hands-on role involves applying engineering principles to enhance manufacturing processes, equipment performance, quality, safety, and cost efficiency.

Responsibilities

Evaluate current manufacturing equipment and processes. Recommend and implement improvements that increase efficiency, quality, reliability, and cost effectiveness

Troubleshoot and resolve process and equipment issues on the production floor

Develop and implement improvement methods and controls focused on safety, quality, and operational efficiency

Lead and support engineering and process improvement projects from concept through execution

Develop project plans, present recommendations, track progress, and report results

Read, interpret, and apply blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and technical reports

Partner with operations, maintenance, and leadership to support manufacturing goals

Take ownership of results and follow through on commitments

Required

Bachelor's degree with an Engineering certificate required

2 to 6 years of manufacturing engineering experience with strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Solid hands-on experience applying engineering concepts and principles in a production environment

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, and Outlook

Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities

Clear and confident communication skills. Comfortable presenting to leadership and collaborating across teams

High integrity. Ability to maintain confidentiality and protect sensitive information

Proactive mindset with sound judgment and the confidence to recommend and implement solutions

Self-motivated professional who performs well in a fast-moving, results-driven environment

Preferred

Continuous Improvement mindset - Six Sigma certification a plus
