Facilitating the stroke patient's access to services
Coordination of all disciplines involved in the care of such patients
Acting as a resource to staff
Ensuring compliance with all external regulatory agencies (TJC, American Stroke Association, and MIEMSS)
Supporting other Frederick Health strategic initiatives and program needs as appropriate for the program coordinator role
Qualification
Required
Minimum Bachelor's degree in Nursing
Must possess strong self direction
Must possess creative problem solving skills
Must possess good communication skills
Preferred
Masters degree
3 years management/supervisory experience
Nursing experience in appropriate clinical areas
MIEMSS Stroke certification
