Inspector
Silicon Forest Electronics, a subsidiary of Impact Electronic Solutions, is seeking an Inspector to join their Production department. The role involves inspecting assemblies, maintaining certifications, and ensuring quality standards are met throughout the production process.

Responsibilities
IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 certified and retain those certifications
IPC-7711 certified if team indicates the need for more qualified personnel
Inspect assemblies using 3D AOI system and pass or fail per IPC-A-610 class
Inspect assemblies at Final inspection and pass or fail per IPC-A-610 class
SMT and Final QA SFE certified and maintain that certification
Complete defect tracking in database
Complete AS9102 FA reports and submit to QA
Operate either x-ray machines per work instructions
Operate AOI systems per work instructions
Run in-line and batch washers per work instruction
Use the MES to track time the status of jobs
Create and complete non-conformances/DMR's
Ability to read, understand, and navigate in Fusion documentation
Help to update procedures and work instructions as needed to match current process
Maintain 6S standards and continually look for ways to improve processes
Follow safety, ESD, ITAR and QMS protocols
Actively participate in Lean activities and embrace change
Follow the procedures as defined in the QMS that pertain to your area or position. Help update procedures and work instructions as needed to match current process
Qualification
Required
IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 certified and retain those certifications

Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time, as required by job tasks
Visual acuity sufficient to perform detailed work, including the ability to inspect work under a microscope for extended periods of time
Must be able to pass a vision exam with a minimum visual acuity of 20/25 in at least one eye, with or without corrective lenses
Must be able to pass a color vision test to accurately distinguish color-coded components or materials
Knowledge of and ability to inspect to IPC-A-610
Inspect through a microscope
Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills
Good writing skills
Ability to work within a team
Basic computer skills
Preferred
IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 certified
Prior Final Inspection experience in the electronics industry
