Provost & Pritchard is offering an opportunity for associate level civil engineers to work with community services and public utility districts that provide municipal services. The ideal candidate will support a senior district engineer and work on municipal infrastructure projects including water, sewer, and stormwater.

Responsibilities

Support the planning, design, and construction of infrastructure projects. Preparation of Preliminary Engineering Reports. Preparation of construction documents

Ensure that all engineering activities comply with federal, state, and local regulations

Develop or update improvement standards and drawings

Review applications for development, prepare conditions of approval and review developer improvement plans

Prepare or oversee preparation of financial assistance applications and feasibility studies

Support the administration of construction contracts, including the public bidding and construction process

Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation related to engineering projects, regulatory compliance, and operational performance, as directed by senior staff

Qualification

Required

Civil/Mechanical Engineering (or related field)

California Professional Engineer license (Civil)

5+ years of experience in the engineering field supporting senior staff with studies, investigations, and designs delivering positive results for clients

Experience in planning, design and construction of water, sewer and storm drain infrastructure

Excellent written and oral communication skills
