Senior SEC Reporting Analyst

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior SEC Reporting Analyst responsible for supporting technical accounting assessments, preparing external financial filings, and contributing to the development of accounting policies.

Responsibilities
Monitor and interpret new U.S. GAAP accounting standards and assess their impact on the company’s financial statements
Draft technical accounting position papers for complex transactions (e.g., stock-based compensation, acquisitions, leases, debt/equity)
Prepare the Statement of Cash Flows and the computation of EPS
Participate in the month end close process by preparing the calculation for SBC expenses, leases, ESPP purchases and recording the entries
Assist in the preparation and review of SEC filings, including 10-Qs, 10-Ks, earnings releases, and other investor communications
Coordinate with external auditors to support quarterly reviews and the annual audit
Maintain and update internal accounting policies and ensure compliance with SOX requirements
Collaborate cross-functionally with FP&A, Legal, Tax, and Business Operations on non-routine transactions and new initiatives
Support accounting due diligence and purchase price allocation (PPA) for acquisitions
Assist with XBRL tagging and related compliance processes
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA required
4–6+ years of progressive accounting experience, including Big 4 public accounting and/or public company technical accounting/reporting experience
Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements
Proven experience drafting technical accounting memos and interpreting accounting guidance
Exceptional attention to detail and project management skills
Experience with Active Disclosure, Workiva, NetSuite, or similar tools is a plus
Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and communicate effectively across teams
Preferred
Experience in SaaS or technology industry
Familiarity with SOX 404 compliance and internal control documentation
