Responsibilities
Work with management team to plan and coordinate effective scheduling process to achieve production objectives
Prepares purchase orders for customer sales and to obtain materials, tools, and equipment
Monitor work flow and supply orders to avoid any shortages, and working with vendor to ensure on-time delivery
Monitor, order and stock materials, tools, etc. for production to ensure production is running smoothly without any delay
Coordinate and schedule appointment with vendor to pick up and drop off sterile products
Prepares defined work packages including detailed instructions, drawings, bills of material, references, inspection requirements, etc., to initiate and control production work flow
Schedules, expedites, and coordinates the delivery and movement of critical material, including material transfers and conditional material releases
Interfaces w/ the purchasing, engineering, and supplying departments to ensure production is running smoothly
Use GP system to create and track purchase order, and create work order for production
Assist in identifying and resolving inventory discrepancies
Performs other related duties and projects as business needs require at direction of management
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED
Minimum two (2) years' experience in demand planning, production forecasting, inventory control, and purchasing
Preferred
Previous experience with LEAN Enterprise or continuous improvement
Previous experience with ERP and/or Microsoft Dynamics GP
