The main purpose of this role is to work with various teams to build an application environment, requiring knowledge of APIs and collaboration with the data team on ETL processes.

API Knowledge
Working with Data team, UnderstandETL
Need someone with system/application engineering experience. Their core role is to work with the various teams to build an application environment
They need to have an understanding of applications and how they are generally architected
E.g. APIs are configured and connected by working with the different API gateways
Bulk transfer is working via SFT by working with the vendor and ETL team to have the necessary SFTP mailboxes created
Need to work with the ETL/Data team to ensure there is a data source available and the ETL jobs are built. As the jobs are built out, we need to document the process that was built
Qualification
Required
API Knowledge
Working with Data team, Understand ETL
System/application engineering experience
Understanding of applications and how they are generally architected
Experience with configuring and connecting APIs by working with different API gateways
Experience with bulk transfer via SFT by working with the vendor and ETL team to have the necessary SFTP mailboxes created
Ability to work with the ETL/Data team to ensure there is a data source available and the ETL jobs are built
