Responsibilities
Minimum of 3 or more years of workers’ compensation defense experience
Exclusive or primary focus on workers’ compensation defense matters
Demonstrated experience managing workers’ compensation cases from inception through final resolution
Strong background handling discovery, depositions, hearings, and appearances
Experience working closely with insurance carriers, employers, and third party administrators
Excellent legal research, writing, negotiation, and advocacy skills
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
Commitment to proactive, efficient, and strategic case management
Active membership in the State Bar of California in good standing
Qualification
Required

Ability to manage in person appearances while maintaining a remote based practice
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize competing deadlines
Client service oriented mindset with a collaborative approach to practice
Proven ability to independently manage workers' compensation defense matters through resolution
