Planet Pharma is dedicated to supporting discovery research and is seeking a Research Operations Senior Associate. The successful candidate will contribute to the design, synthesis, purification, and characterization of small molecule payloads and antibody drug conjugates while ensuring laboratory readiness and safety.

Responsibilities

Plan and execute multi-step synthesis of payload and linker-payload intermediates
Perform antibody conjugation
Conduct purification and characterization of small molecules and antibody conjugates using appropriate techniques
Accurately record all experimental procedures, observations and results in the laboratory enotebook
Summarize and communicate data to the project team in meetings and updates
Operate and maintain specialized lab equipment and instrumentation
Perform general lab housekeeping activities, ensuring a clean, safe workspace
Comply with all lab safety guidelines, SOPs and relevant regulations

Required

Bachelors degree in chemistry, biochemistry, or a related scientific discipline with 2+ years of relevant experience or Masters degree in chemistry, biochemistry, or a related scientific discipline
Working knowledge of standard laboratory practices is required
Experience operating and maintaining laboratory instrumentation
Experience working in environments requiring heightened safety practices

Preferred

Hands-on experience with organic synthesis and purification
