Graphic Designer
Beacon College is focused on enhancing its Enrollment Management marketing efforts, and they are seeking a Graphic Designer to create engaging visual materials. This role involves designing print and digital assets, supporting video editing, and collaborating with the Enrollment Management team to ensure brand consistency and effectiveness across all marketing materials.

Responsibilities
Design and produce appropriate and effective branded print and digital materials, including brochures, flyers, social graphics, presentation assets, and event materials using design software such as Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
Support video editing and post-production efforts, as needed, including trimming, captioning, and segmenting recorded webinars and promotional videos utilizing video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro
Oversee Enrollment Management content updates, including the Center for College Readiness, in WordPress and related CMS platforms, ensuring accuracy, visual consistency, and brand effectiveness
Collaborate with the Enrollment Management team to develop creative assets for marketing enrollment campaigns, advertising, and social media
Maintain organized version control, templates, design libraries, and brand standards
Support photography asset management, as needed, with selecting, editing, and organizing assets
Occasional photography assignments as needed to support the divisional and organizational needs of the college
Coordinate and collaborate with internal partners to meet project timelines and deliverables
Support departmental administrative and operational needs, including, but not limited to, tracking project requests and archiving creative files
Perform additional responsibilities as assigned
Qualification
Required
A portfolio is required to be considered for this role
Bachelor's degree preferred
Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Digital Media, Marketing, or related field preferred
A minimum of two (2) to four (4) years of related professional design experience required, with experience in higher education experience preferred
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud, including but not limited to, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Premiere Pro
Familiarity and ability to utilize WordPress or similar CMS platforms
Working knowledge of accessibility standards, such as those developed in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (“ADA”) and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (“WCAG”) for all digital and print communications
Basic understanding of photography and/or video production workflows
Knowledge of file management, version control, and digital asset organization
Strong graphic design skills with a clear sense of layout, typography, and brand application
Ability to produce high-quality print and digital materials using Adobe Creative Cloud
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Excellent attention to detail, organization, and file management
Efficiently learns and navigates new platforms and technologies to support evolving operational needs
Effective communication and collaboration skills when working with internal and external stakeholders
Ability to maintain a brand consistency across diverse materials and platforms
Ability to translate verbal concepts into compelling visual assets
Ability to receive product feedback regarding ongoing projects and iterate on designs to meet the needs of the organization
Ability to maintain a professional and patient approach when working with students, parents, and other Beacon College community members
Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with diverse internal and external stakeholders
Availability to support occasional evening or weekend projects during peak enrollment periods as needed
