Responsibilities
Write, coordinate, and schedule electrical distribution switching procedures for construction and maintenance activities
Partner with the control center to align switching plans with system availability and operational requirements
Review upcoming switching requests, prioritize workload, and manage timelines for approval and execution
Distribute switch plans for internal review, address feedback, and secure final approvals
Coordinate approved switch plans into the operational schedule and hand off to the control center for execution
Serve as a point of contact for follow-up questions or clarifications from the control center and internal stakeholders
Maintain accuracy, safety compliance, and documentation standards across all switching procedures
Support workload management during peak demand or staffing gaps to reduce operational and project delays
Qualification
Required
Experience in coordinating and authoring electrical distribution switching procedures
Ability to partner with internal operations teams and the control center
Knowledge of safety policies and operational standards
Strong organizational skills to minimize project delays and control construction costs
Ability to manage timelines for approval and execution of switching requests
Experience in distributing switch plans for internal review and securing final approvals
Ability to maintain accuracy, safety compliance, and documentation standards
Experience in supporting workload management during peak demand or staffing gaps
Strong coordination and communication skills
