Responsibilities

Design and deploy innovative technical controls to detect and prevent security incidents

Contribute to incident response efforts, including tabletop exercises

Collaborate across teams to integrate security best practices into products and processes

Deploy and optimize detection and response automation

Continuously research the latest security threats

This position includes rotational on-call responsibilities; Not brutal- the workload is reasonable and shared across the team

Required

3+ years of experience in software development, security, or combination of the two

Experience securing Cloud-native environments

Experience with endpoint detection and response

Familiarity with macOS or Linux security controls

Ability to work independently across multiple simultaneous work streams

Digital forensics and incident response knowledge, skills, and experience

Ability to craft automation with languages such as Go, Python, or Shell

Investigative mindset

Superb interpersonal and communication skills (no assholes)

Bachelor's of Science degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Computer Security, Information Systems

Preferred

Offensive security and or open-source software development a plus
