College of Engineering Adjunct - Electrical and Computer Engineering
Dr. Robert K. Jabs School of Business is seeking an Adjunct in Electrical and Computer Engineering. This role involves assisting in the planning and implementation of campus visits and admissions events, ensuring a positive experience for prospective students and their families.

Responsibilities
Provide excellent customer service to all campus visitors
Assist in coordination, execution and evaluation of campus preview events
Schedule and coordinate large group visits of high schools and community colleges
Coordinate meeting/conference room and facility reservations for campus visits and events
Schedule appointments, professor meetings, and class visits for campus tour visitors
Assist in various technical support including website, text and email updates
Assist in the evaluation and training of tour guides
Receive incoming requests for appointments and campus tours
Communicate regularly with registrants for campus tours and events
Prepare materials for campus visits and events
Assist with check-in for campus visits and events
Perform data entry and administrative tasks to support daily office operations
Schedule individual tours for admissions counselors
Manage the transportation and setup of event materials across campus, ensuring timely delivery and setup, through use of university vehicles
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Valid California Class “C” driver's license
Demonstrated ability and willingness to live and uphold the University's Christ-centered mission and values
Skill in the use of personal computers and related software applications including, but not limited to, the Microsoft Office suite and Google Drive equivalents
Ability to coordinate and organize meetings and/or special events
Ability to make administrative and procedural decisions and judgments on sensitive, confidential issues
A thorough knowledge of: Business English and arithmetic; general office methods, procedures and practices
Ability to plan, develop, and coordinate multiple projects
Ability to read and write at a level appropriate to the duties of the position
Ability to use independent judgment and to manage and impart confidential information
Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports
Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a diverse faculty, staff and student body
Ability to supervise and train staff, including organizing, prioritizing, and scheduling work assignments
Strong organizational skills and detailed oriented
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Excellent telephone courtesy knowledge and experience
Ability to interpret, adapt, and apply guidelines and procedures
Ability to create, compose, and edit written materials
Ability to develop and maintain recordkeeping systems and procedures
Ability to resolve customer complaints and concerns
Ability to investigate and analyze information and to draw conclusions
