Responsibilities

Developing detailed electromechanical designs for avionics cards, cable assemblies and mechanical support structures
Producing complete release packages (3 D models, 2 D drawings, BOMs, and design assurance documentation) in accordance with Lockheed Martin standards
Performing integration, fit check and test activities in the lab to validate subsystem and system performance
Leading design review and verification efforts with functional leads, program managers and customer representatives
Coordinating closely with engineering administration, designers, subcontractors, planning and quality teams throughout assembly, inspection and test phases
Applying design for manufacturability and design for test principles to streamline transition from prototype to production hardware
Managing configuration control and documentation in LM tools (e.g., Windchill) to maintain traceability
Supporting occasional travel to supplier sites, customer facilities or program milestones while primarily working onsite in Orlando

Ability to obtain a secret clearance
