Bilingual Community Engagement & Education Specialist
Credit Counselling Society is an accredited non-profit organization that offers support to clients encountering financial challenges. They are seeking a Bilingual Community Engagement & Education Specialist who will identify and foster partnerships, maintain relationships, and support educational initiatives within the community.

Responsibilities
Identify and foster new, mutually beneficial partnerships through community engagement, networking, and the offer of paid webinars and workshops targeted at organizations that serve employees and/or clients with a shared client profile
Nurture and maintain existing paid partner relationships through various means, including strong partner onboarding, financial literacy educational support, impact reporting, and stakeholder awareness of CCS’s programs and services
Identify sponsorship ideas that meet the needs of existing partners and refer high-potential sponsor partners to our Corporate & Community Relations Manager for further dialogue
Qualification
Required
Fluency in both English and French is required
Three to five years of experience in finance, business development, and education
Entrepreneurial mindset and a well-developed professional relationship-building skill set
Ability to manage a portfolio of corporate relationships with a high degree of confidence
Ability to build and manage their own client pipelines
Dynamic presentation, facilitation, and teaching skills, with the ability to engage audiences
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to influence others and address and resolve concerns or objections
Understanding of consumer credit and personal money management concepts
Empathy and a genuine desire to work as part of a team and help people
Positive, can-do attitude and a solution-focused approach, with the ability to adapt to change and work well under pressure
Strong organizational abilities, including the ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Proficiency in CRM applications and usage
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Successful candidates will be required to complete the Certified Educator in Personal Finance (CEPF) certification program within one year of their start date in the role
Preferred
Post-secondary degree or diploma, preferably in communications or education, is an asset
Media experience is an asset
