Responsibilities
Responsible for specific sets of processes (more than one) i.e. PUR, foam, roll forming, steel stamping, machining, etc
Development of standard work instructions for assigned processes
Develop and facilitate process improvements for assigned processes
Work with quality and production to identify gaps between current process and standardized work and develop corrective actions to resolve
Develop production process goals designed to meet sales and budgeted targets
Complete process improvement projects designed to meet or exceed sales and budget goals
Identify and resolve process and quality problems for assigned processes
Qualification
Required
4-year engineering degree required
Lean Manufacturing experience required
Six Sigma Black Belt and / or Green Belt experience required
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Training experience: leading and facilitating
Ability to work in a cross functional team environment
Strong ability to drive change
Preferred
5 or more years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
Project Management Professional preferred
GD&T, APQP, and Product Design / Launch experience preferred
Mini Tab experience preferred
Experience in SMC processing from formulations of mix to finished product preferred
Experience with compression molding preferred
Experience in steel stamping or processing preferred
