The Associate Analyst for Reinsurance will manage the administration of reinsured policies, maintain records, and ensure compliance with reinsurance agreements, requiring strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Prepare, review, and reconcile periodic reinsurance settlement statements (e.g., premiums, claims, allowances, reserves, and balances due)

Validate data received from internal systems and external reinsurers, generate reports and identify opportunities for standardization and automation, complete reconciliations, validate data and adjust as needed

Maintain detailed documentation supporting settlements, assumptions, and adjustments

Review new and existing reinsurance agreements, implement and or update

Interact with reinsurers and support relationship management

Support ad-hoc requests, including, audit, and regulatory

Key areas of collaboration include Financial Reporting, Risk Management, Legal, Internal Audit, Pricing, Product Management, IT, Operations, Investments, and other areas as appropriate
