The Product Engineering Assistant will support the product engineering team in designing new products and providing support for existing products, while also developing components and cost-reducing designs.

Responsibilities

Assist engineers with product builds, testing, validation, and troubleshooting

Execute teardown evaluations on tested product or customer returned product

Collect data, track performance, and prepare reports on results

Maintain and update engineering-controlled production documentation, including engineering releases and BOMs, engineering change orders, production schematics, etc

Support product activities, including assembly and preparing for testing

Process customer and in-house engineering sample requests

Lead inventory management on selected engineering change projects and sample requests

Maintain and improve conditions of designated product engineering areas (Teardown Room, Build Room, etc.)

Replenishment of stock expendable items in product engineering areas
