Responsibilities
Interpret and ensure adherence to technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD models in the production process
Design fixtures that integrate seamlessly with the manufacturing setup and enhance the assembly line's efficiency
Collaborate with cross-functional teams for design and process improvements, incorporating GD&T requirements effectively
Drive innovation in design, ensuring fixtures are ergonomic, cost-effective, and meet quality standards
Conduct tolerance stack-up analysis to minimize potential quality issues in final assembly
Qualification
Required
A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, STEM, or a related field, or equivalent experience
At least 5 years of experience in dimensional engineering within a manufacturing or production environment
Strong foundational skills in GD&T and expertise in CAD software
Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar)
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork and collaboration
Preferred
Experience in the manufacturing industry, particularly with a focus on quality control and product integration
Familiarity with metrology
Familiarity with Statistical Process Control (SPC)
Familiarity with quality management systems
